Frank Wycheck explains why Fisher parted ways with Titans
Nashville radio host and former Titan Frank Wycheck joined the show to talk about the Titans and Jeff Fisher parting ways.
Wycheck said everyone was surprised because they thought Adams and Fisher were on the same page. “It had to be something going sideways with Jeff and Mr. Adams at some point,” Wycheck said.
Wycheck said that even as things seemed OK on the surface, you never know what was happening behind the scenes.
Wycheck said that even though Adams lives in Houston, he’s in control of this teams. “Mr. Adams is more involved than people probably think,” Wycheck said.
Dan asked Wycheck if this changes anything with Vince Young. “That’s a done deal,” Wycheck said. “Ultimately it wasn’t a decision between Jeff Fisher and Vince Young.
Wycheck thinks Mike Munchak would be a good fit as the next coach, but he’s not sure that he wants to do the job.
