Daugherty: Palmer wants out of Cincy, Bengals will look at Cam

Cincinnati Enquirer columnist Paul Daugherty joined the show to talk about Carson Palmer wanting to leave the Bengals.

Daugherty said Palmer isn’t bluffing. “When he says things, he means them,” Daugherty said.

Daugherty said he’s seen lots of guys get down on the franchise. “They get Bengal-ized,” Daugherty said. “Kind of a glazed-out look in their eyes.”

Daugherty said that the Bengals love taking quarterbacks and will look long and hard at Cam Newton.

Daugherty also said he thinks Chad Ochocinco is gone. He thinks the other guys at receiver were good enough “by Bengals standards.”
