Rich Eisen on his 40, Cam Newton, Lockout
NFL Network host Rich Eisen joined the show to talk about running the 40 at the NFL Scouting Combine. He set a personal high at 6.18 this year. Dan asked Rich to look at the landscape of NFL pregame show hosts to see who’s the fastest
Eisen said he knows he can beat Chris Berman because he just had a hip replacement. Eisen said he can take James Brown.
Eisen said that he thinks Cam Newton didn’t hurt himself throwing at the Combine. and he said Newton has an incredible personality and would be outstanding as a face of a program. But he still thinks Gabbard still might go higher.
Eisen also weighed in on the Lockout. He said that only a small group in an inner circle knows where both sides really are. But he thinks that an extension could mean that a solution is imminent.
