Scottie Pippen comments on state of NBA game
NBA legend Scottie Pippen joined the show to talk about
Pippen said the game is so different from when he played because they don’t allow defenses to get physical with the offense.
“The game now is so offensively driven,” Pippen said. “It’s so easy for an offensive player to keep his aggressiveness with the basketball player.”
Pippen said Michael Jordan could average over 40 points per game in today’s game. Pippen said that whatever the highest guy in the league was, Jordan could just do more if he wanted to.
Pippen talked about some of the “incidents” that happened with the Bulls. Some of them were portrayed as fights in practices, but Pippen maintains the word “incident.”
Pippen also talked about his draft day when he was drafted by Seattle and traded for Olden Polynice. Pippen said he knew the trade was coming before the draft started.
