Tom Thibodeau talks about Bulls’ place in East, Derrick Rose

Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau joined the show to talk about Chicago’s success this season.

Dan asked who is the best team in the Eastern Conference. “I believe we’re there now,” Thibodeau said.

Thibodeau had a lot of praise for guard Derrick Rose. He said that Rose is very much a team-first player and credited him for working on his defense as well.

Thibodeau also commented on Doc Rivers and some of the coaches he’s learned from. “I’ve been very fortunate to be under a lot of great coaches in my career,” Thibodeau said.

Thibodeau also talked about the possibility of facing the Celtics. He said they’ve changed a lot since he left in the offseason. He said Rajon Rondo is a different player and they traded Kendrick Perkins.

Thibodeau also clarified, his name is pronounced Thib-a-Doh, not Tib-a-Doh.
