Morehead St.’s Donnie Tyndall explains how they beat Louisville
Morehead State coach Donnie Tyndall joined the show to talk about their big upset over Louisville and his chances moving forward in the Tournament.
Tyndall talked about the final play of the game. He said that he woke up in the middle of the night before the game and planned the last shot if it was a close game. He decided he was going to put it in the hands of Demonte Harper, who would have a height advantage over Louisville’s defender.
Tyndall told Harper to shoot the three-pointer in the final huddle. “He looked me dead in the eye and said ‘Coach, I got this,'” Tyndall said. Haper hit the game-winner with 4.2 seconds left.
