Norm MacDonald talks about his new show, bad sports bets

NormComedian Norm MacDonald joined the show to talk about his new sports show.

“It’s going to be kind of like Weekend Update,” MacDonald said. He said the difference is it won’t be about politics, which it turns out he’s not interested.

MacDonald also talked about his sports betting history. He lost 100K on an over-under for a baseball game, when Robin Ventura hit a walk-off grand slam that counted for one run and lost.

MacDonald talked about some of his favorite sports broadcasters. He’s a fan of Dan’s. But he said his favorite two ever are Howard Cosell and Marv Albert. He met Cosell when he was a kid.
