Rich Eisen talks about NFL rule changes, Wonderlic
NFL Network host Rich Eisen joined the show to talk about rule changes and the lockout.
Eisen talked about the league trying to change kickoffs. He noted that fans in Denver will see about 10 kickoff returns all season.
Eisen also said the 18-game schedule seems to be off the table right now because the players don’t want it.
Eisen didn’t think Dan’s proposal of a player refusing to take the Wonderlic would work. Eisen said it’s just a tool. The most important part of the Combine is the physical and the interviews.
Eisen said that teams don’t really care about a low Wonderlic score. For example, are the Cincinnati Bengals going to pass on A.J. Green in the first round because he scored a 10 on that test. Eisen also pointed out Vince Young had a terrible Wonderlic score and still went No. 3 overall.
