Dan calls out people who run college bowls
Dan talked about the recent controversy around the Fiesta Bowl. The CEO has been asked to step down because the way the money is being spent is being investigated. Dan said it’s a frat house atmosphere and the way they spend money on perks is careless.
Dan’s real issue is that bowls force schools to buy thousands of tickets, and programs like Connecticut end up losing lots of money. Dan pointed out the Michigan AD said his program made money by not going to a bowl game.
But Dan really doesn’t want to see Arizona lose the Fiesta Bowl, because people have supported that game for a long time and the fans don’t deserve this.
