Peter Gammons comments on Red Sox struggles, best team he saw
MLB Network’s Peter Gammons joined the show to talk about the big stories in baseball.
Gammons commented on the Boston Red Sox’s struggles. Gammons said they were probably overhyped to start with. He pointed to a Boston Herald headline asking if the Red Sox were the best team of all time.
Gammons said that Carl Crawford is trying too hard. And Dice-K just isn’t good any more and they have to cut his starts soon.
Gammons said the best team he ever saw was the 1998 Yankees. He said they always found a way to win and they were a true team.
