Christian Ponder
Former Florida State quarterback Christian Ponder joined the show to talk about where he’ll be drafted.
Ponder said he has no idea where he’ll go. He said he heard from people who’ve been through this that teams that didn’t even interview him will end up taking him.
Ponder said that the knock on him is that he’s injury-prone, but he said they’ve been fluke things. He thinks he’s proven he’s tough enough to survive in the NFL.
Ponder said that he thinks he’s just as good a quarterback as any of the other prospects in this draft. He said he threw with Blaine Gabbert during the offseason and thinks he did just as well.
Ponder had a 3.7 GPA at Florida State. He said his easiest class was Golf.
