Mike Florio comments on Reggie Bush’s future, NFL tampering
Profootballtalk.com editor Mike Florio joined the show to talk about this strang offseason
Florio commented on Reggie Bush’s Tweets and said the Saints don’t want to pay the full $11.8 million for Reggie Bush. They might bring him back for a bit less. The question for Bush, can he get more elsewhere.
Florio said that there probably is tampering going on all over the league right now. “If the NFL was going to act upon it, they’d have to punish 32 teams,” Florio said.
Florio also commented on the potential Brett Favre-Cam Newton collaboration. They share the same agent, Bus Cook, and Florio thinks Favre helped Cook land the former Auburn quarterback.
Florio thinks Favre is a little bit radioactive right now for the networks and there’s questions about whether he’ll work hard enough to be on a show.
Florio said nothing significant is going on in the Lockout. We’re just waiting on the legal system to play out. Florio put his key date as Aug. 15. He thinks teams need three weeks at least to get ready Week 1.
