Gus Johnson explains why he left CBS for FOX
New FOX Sports broadcaster Gus Johnson joined the show to talk about why he left CBS and what the future holds.
Johnson talked about how much CBS meant to him, and pointed specifically to the NCAA Tournament: “It made me pretty much who I am today as a broadcaster,” Johnson said.
Johnson said the notion he’d be lent to CBS for the Big Dance. Johnson said his lawyer never got into that and it was just chatter out there.
Johnson said this has been a grueling process and he can’t wait to get back in the gym and get to normalcy.
