Tom Thibodeau breaks down Bulls-Heat matchup
Chicago Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau joined the show to talk about their win over the Hawks and the upcoming series against the Miami Heat.
Dan asked who the Heat will put on Derrick Rose. “They’ll probably go with different guys,” Thibodeau said. “[Mike] Bibby or [Dwayne] Wade to start. Maybe LeBron at some point.”
Thibodeau had nice things to say about LeBron. “The thing that gets overlooked, not only with LeBron but with Wade too, is how unselfish they are,” Thibodeau said.
Thibodeau commented on Phil Jackson. He said he’s not 100 percent sure that Phil is done. But he thinks it’s mind-blowing how many titles Jackson has won. Thibodeau said the Lakers are still hard to match up with because of their size.
Thibodeau said that his Coach of the Year trophy got scratched and he had to send it back to get fixed.
