Jay Glazer on rookie personalities, Lockout, where QBs land
FOX’s Jay Glazer joined the show to talk about the big stories around the NFL and the latest on the Lockout.
— Glazer was at the rookie marketing summit this weekend in L.A. Glazer said that Christian Ponder stood out personality-wise. “He was hysterical,” Glazer said.
Glazer also said Ryan Williams and Von Miller stood out. Glazer said that Miller seemed like he’d been in the league for years.
— Glazer said he thinks Ray Lewis is overestimating the impact of sports by saying crime will spike if NFL games are cancelled.
— Glazer weighed in on the Lockout. “Everybody else is doing the gloom thing,” Glazer said. “I don’t believe that. … This is the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen.”
Glazer said he doesn’t understand a word NFLPA chief DeMaurice Smith says.
— Glazer had these comments on QBs. He said Kevin Kolb won’t be in Philly. Donovan McNabb won’t be in Minnesota or Arizona. And he has no idea where Carson Palmer will be.
