Sam Amick says Bulls in trouble, Irving’s upside limited
SI.com’s Sam Amick joined the show to talk about both NBA playoff series and last week’s pre-draft combine. Here are some of his takes:
— Amick thinks the Heat have probably figured out the Bulls.
“It’s a bad situation for the Bulls,” Amick said. “I thought Game 2 is the one that got away from them.”
— Amick weighed in on Kyrie Irving. “Is he that good? No, I don’t think so,” Amick said. “It’s hard to tell because he was hurt so much.”
Irving’s body fat was kind of high at the predraft combine.
“He’s not Chris Paul,” Amick said. “His upside is top third of the league for point guards.”
— Amick thinks BYU star Jimmer Fredette will go No. 12 to the Utah Jazz.
