Jay Feely offers player’s view on NFL Lockout

Arizona Cardinals kick Jay Feely joined guest host Jay Feely to talk about the Lockout and more

Feely talked about why players have pulled back commenting on the labor impasse.

“Anything that any player have said this offseason when they try to be realistic … the NFL has taken those comments and used them against them,” Feely said.

Andrew asked Jay why the players decertified. “We had to decertify, because we knew the owners were going to lock us out,” Feely said. “Obviously it was about leverage.”

Feely said the negotiations were frustrating because the owners didn’t really engage.

Feely also said it’s important for the NFL to be in action on Sept. 11 to honor the country.
