Dan Le Batard questions all the people who hate the Heat

Miami Herald columnist and radio host Dan Le Batard joined the show to talk about the Heat-Bulls series and all the vitriol toward Miami.

“I can’t remember in my lifetime many teams being rooted against like this team is being rooted against,” Le Batard said.

Le Batard said that people focus on the shenanigans when LeBron joined the team. But they’re forgetting that players took less money to be in Miami, which shows the kind of dedication to team that we want to see.

“What happened to Derrick Rose in this series doesn’t illustrate why LeBron left Cleveland, I don’t know what does,” Le Batard said.

Le Batard noted that Dallas’ Dirk Nowitzki is a lot harder to stop than Rose and the Mavericks have a lot more weapons around Dirk than the Bulls did around Rose. But he doesn’t think the Mavs can stop the Heat either. Le Batard said that the Heat will be able to run on the Mavs in a way they couldn’t against the Celtics or Bulls.
