Dan Shaughnessy: Canucks winning would be bad for NHL
Boston Globe Dan Shaughnessy joined the show to talk about the Bruins-Canucks series.
Shaughnessy has issues with Vancouver Canucks goalie Roberto Luongo. “His behavior has just been really pitiful,” Shaugnessy said.
Shaughnessy thinks the Canucks have given up on their games in Boston and that’s just pathetic. “If the Canucks can raise the Cup, I don’t think it’s good for the sport,” Shaughnessy said.
Shaughnessy said Bruins goalie Tim Thomas is the hero of the playoffs. “He’s the MVP of the playoffs, even if they win the series,” Shaughnessy said.
Shaughnessy predicts the Bruins will win by one goal. “If there’s a hockey god of any kind, unless you’re a dyed-in-wool Canucks fan , I don’t see how you can root for those guys,” Shaughnessy said.
