Fritzie lands Greg McElroy instead of Rory McIlroy
Since Fritzy couldn’t get Rory McIlroy, he got former Alabama quarterback Greg McElroy.
McElroy said he’s not related to McIlroy. And he can’t play golf. “I have more Charles Barkley running thorugh my veins than Rory McIlroy,” McElroy said.
McElroy said he’s working out with the Jets. About 45 guys worked out. Quarterback Mark Sanchez and his brother organized it for the second time this offseason. McElroy said Sanchez got meeting rooms and film and tried his best to recreate a real practice.
But he doesn’t feel like he’s totally on the team yet because of the lockout.
