Kemba Walker says he’ll be pure point guard in NBA
UCOnn Huskies guard Kemba Walker joined the show to talk about the upcoming NBA Draft.
Walker said he worked out for five teams: Charlotte, Toronto, Detroit, Sacramento and Utah. Walker said all the teams showed him a lot of love.
Walker said that he scored a lot in college and some people think he’s a combo, but that’s not how he sees himself in college. “I’m a pure point guard,” Walker said.
Walker said that Chris Paul is his favorite point guard, but Carmelo Anthony is his favorite player in the NBA.
Dan asked Walker what Kyrie Irving does better than him. Walker wouldn’t really get into it. He said he thinks Kyrie Irving could be a very, very good NBA player.
