Staples: NCAA should have dealt with Texas network earlier
SI.com’s Andy Staples joined the show to talk about the NCAA having an issue with Texas forming its own network.
Staples said the NCAA doesn’t have a rule about a school having its own network. It never thought a school would have its own 24-hour network.
Staples said that the NCAA should have dealt this with a year ago. Texas came back to the Big 12 because it was going to form its own network, and everyone knew that.
Staples thinks that the NCAA will “fold” because it won’t go against big schools or ESPN.
