Bochy admits concern about Wilson’s attire for White House
San Francisco Giants manager Bruce Bochy joined the show to talk about
Bochy talked about going to the White House. He said that he got a few minutes with President Obama in the blue room and that was a huge highlight.
Bochy said he was worried about what his players would wear to the White House.
“I’m not kidding. I really was concerned with what Brian [Wilson] was going to wear. I said put the Spandex [away],” Bochy said. “With the character I had, I didn’t know what they would break out.”
Bochy said he likes having a bunch of personalities. “Once the game starts, they’re all ready,” Bochy said. He said Wilson works as hard as anyone, so he’s not worried.
Bochy said the players make fun of his head size. “I got included in some of these conversations with steriods [because of my head size],” Bochy said. But Bochy said his numbers kept him safe in that regard.
Bochy said that the Giants could use a bat before the trade deadline. Bochy said that their pitching has been great.
