Rich Eisen sticks up for instant replay on scoring plays
NFL Network host Rich Eisen joined the show to talk the opening of preseason and much more.
Eisen likes the replay on every scoring play. He referenced the Pats-Jags game, when they reviewed a real close play on a Taylor Price touchdowns at the back of the end zone.It was worth a replay, and Jacksonville’s Jack Del Rio didn’t have to use a red flag.
Eisen said he thinks the biggest storyline of last night was Seattle’s Russell Okung hurting his ankle. He didn’t think that Tim Tebow did anything to earn the starting spot in Denver.
Eisen also weighed in on Los Angeles getting an NFL team. He thinks that the new thought is there would be a Super Bowl in L.A. in 2016. But he said there are competing stadium plans in the area. Eventually, they could easily get two teams in one building.
