Staples: NCAA won’t rule on OSU for 8-12 weeks

SI.com’s Andy Staples joined the show to talk about the NCAA meetings with Ohio State in Indianapolis.

Staples said that Jim Tressel is there, but he’s not with the Ohio State contingent.

Staples said that they may not rule for 8-12 weeks. That means the Buckeyes may not get in trouble during this season. He said that it’s hard to predict, because they are not directed to use precedent.

Staples said that Terrelle Pryor said that he doesn’t have to talk to the NCAA. And without Pryor, the NCAA doesn’t have a great case against the Buckeyes.
