Al Michaels says boosters have always caused damage for college football
NBC NFL broadcaster Al Michaels joined the show to talk the big stories in sports.
Michaels talked about the problems in college football. Michaels pointed to the boosters as the main culprit.
“It stems from the 50-year-old adolescent alumnus who needs to be part of the program,” Michaels said. “If you look at most of the problems in college football it all stems from guys like [Nevin Shapiro.]”
Michaels said it’s been going on in college football for years and he thinks it’s now “pervasive as ever.”
Michaels also talked about the NFL moving to Los Angeles. He said AEG is being extremely aggressive about building a stadium and he thinks two teams are headed to Los Angeles.
