Clay Matthews says Rodgers shave ‘stache, explains small shoulder pads, praises Suh
Green Bay Pakers linebacker Clay Matthews joined the show to talk about his team’s chances of repeating and more.
Matthews first informed us that Aaron Rodgers shaved his mustache. He loved the mustache.
Matthews admitted he wears the smallest shoulder pads he can find. Matthews said that he likes it that way so no one can grab him. Matthews said that the fear is that it shows off your gut.
Matthews said that the Packers are basically the same team as last year, and they get Jermichael Finley and Ryan Grant back.
Matthews had a lot of praise for Ndamukong Suh. He said guys like that provide a spark for his team … unfortunately for him.
Matthews said that he could beat Drew Brees in a 40. He couldn’t beat Michael Vick. But Matthews said they’re lots of angles and obstacles to deal with on the field.
Matthews commented on his USC Trojans. He said that a close win over a “lowly” Big Ten team (Minnesota) isn’t going to cut it.
