Adrian Peterson talks about upcoming season
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson joined the show to talk about the upcoming season.
Peterson said that he thinks the sky is the limit of how many yards he can run for. He said he thinks he could run for “close to 400.” The last time he played the Chargers (Sunday’s opponent), he ran for 296.
Peterson said he had 305 yards and six touchdowns one time in high school.
Peterson said that he’s not worried about his contract. He’s in his final year. “I’m just focused on the season,” Peterson said.
Dan asked if he wanted to stay. Peterson said yes … but “it is a business.”
Peterson also talked about his nicknames. “All Day” is Dan’s favorite, and Peterson likes that one. He said he doesn’t like Purple Jesus so much. Another one that some people don’t know is “The Deal.”
