Wisconsin quarterback Russell Wilson says he’s NFL-ready

Wisconsin quarterback Russell Wilson joined the show to talk about the Badgers’ win over Nebraska and more.

Wilson explained why he left North Carolina State to come to Wisconsin. N.C. State basically had issues with his baseball career. Then Wilson looked around, and Dan pointed out that he probably fell in love with the Badgers’ offensive line.

Dan asked Wilson which sport he’d choose moving forward. Wilson said that he’s playing football right now and so he’s leaning that way. Wilson said he thinks he’s pro-ready, since he understands coverages and can see the field. Wilson did say that he decided to come to Wisconsin instead of playing baseball because he wanted to prove he could play football at the next level.

“I wanted to show everybody I could play in the NFL,” Wilson said.
