McAdam: Red Sox have ‘significant’ makeup issues to address

Comcast Sports New England’s Sean McAdam joined the show to discuss the Boston Red Sox losing Theo Epstein.

McAdam said that the writing was on the wall for this and jobs like this have a shelf limit. It wears on people.

McAdam said that the Red Sox have some stability because Epstein’s successor Ben Cherington will take over as GM. “But they have to hire a new manager and they have to adress some pretty signficant makeup issues when it comes to this team,” McAdam said.

McAdam said the Cubs are getting a smart GM who will stop at nothing to win: “I think the Cubs are going to be better. How quickly that happens, who knows?”
