Johnston thinks Schwartz and Harbaugh will be fined for handshake fracas

Daryl “Moose” Johnston joined the show to talk about the big storylines in the NFL.

Johnston has no problem with 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh’s aggressive handshake with Lions coach Jim Schwartz. “It’s an emotional game,” Johnston said. “I don’t have an issue with it.”

Johnston thinks they will get called by commissioner Roger Goodell. He pointed out that the commish called Rex Ryan and asked him to dial it down a bit. Johnston said he thinks they will get fined.

Also, Johnston thinks that the handshake is necessary. “You guys don’t have to go do that if you don’t want to,” Johnston said.

Johnston said that he was impressed with how the officials handled the situation and it could have been much worse.

Johnston was very impressed with the way the Niners covered the Lions’ Calvin Johnson. He said that they trusted their defensive backs to play well.
