Pat Forde: Joe Paterno should resign, but Penn State coach may hold on
Yahoo college football writer Pat Forde joined the show to talk about what’s happening at Penn State. Forde will be at today’s press conference.
Forde thinks today’s press conference may go nowhere, but it could be more eventful than we think. “The one thing with [Paterno], he’s hard to keep on a script,” Forde said. “He’s going to say what he wants to say. … I’m not sure he can help himself.”
Forde thinks Paterno should step down. And he certainly thinks this will be Paterno’s last season. “The problem is no one has ever been able to tell him what to do,” Forde said.
Forde thinks that Penn State president Graham Spanier should definitely step down immediately.
