Derrick Brodus explains how he was pulled from couch to football field at Tennessee
Tennessee Volunteers kicker Derrick Brodus joined the show to tell the incredible story of how he got the call to join the team. The Vols had all sorts of injuries at the kicking position and they had to call him off the couch. He was sitting with friends watching football.
Brodus said that he has been on the team before, so they had a jersey. But he clearly wasn’t expecting this.
Brodus made it clear he didn’t have any beers when he got the call.
