Michigan St.’s Kirk Cousins weighs in on state of college football
Michigan State quarterback Kirk Cousins joined the show to talk about the Big Ten title game and more.
Cousins had several very interesting comments on the state of college football. Cousins has problems with the emphasis on money for programs. He likes the way the Ivy League took money out of the picture to make it more pure competition.
But Cousins doesn’t necessarily want to get rid of bowl system. He thinks it helps motivate teams that aren’t in the top 10. Teams that are 7-5 for example.
Cousins said that the main reason he is excited that Michigan State made the Big Ten title game is so he can play in front of Dan and the Danettes.
