Chris Mannix says Lakers have best chance of trading for Paul and Howard
Sports Illustrated’s Chris Mannix joined the show to talk about some of the potential moves around the NBA.
Mannix said the Lakers have the most realistic chance of getting Dwight Howard or Chris Paul, because they have Andrew Bynum as trade bait.
Mannix agrees with Dan that the Lakers need Paul more than Howard. Mannix said the Lakers’ biggest problem is getting torched by opposing guards.
Mannix, however, thinks it’s unlikely the Hornets will trade Paul. The NBA runs the Hornets and it would be criticized for giving Paul to a powerhouse team.
