Don MacLean says Clippers pursuing Paul to convince Griffin to stay
Los Angeles Clippers analyst Don MacLean joined the show to talk about the Clippers pursuing Chris Paul.
MacLean said the deal from the Clippers standpoint is about keeping Blake Griffin in L.A. MacLean described their strategy: “I’m trying to get superstars here to keep my superstar here.”
MacLean thinks that David Stern and the league office is trying to strip down the Hornets and just keep Paul, and then sell the team.
MacLean thinks that the Clippers have a better chance than the Lakers of landing Paul because they have more assets.
