Colts’ Dan Orlovsky on win over Texans, possibility of getting No. 1 overall pick
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Dan Orlovsky joined the show to talk about their dramatic win over the Texans on Thursday night.
Orlovsky explained why he felt confident going into the game-winning drive because they had a good two-minute drill at the end of the first half. Then Peyton Manning gave him some good advice.
“Peyton came up to me and said you have two minutes, get yourself to one minute,” Orlovsky said.
Dan asked Orlvosky if anyone on the team talks about the potential of getting the No. 1 pick and Andrew Luck, and if anyone actually doesn’t want to win for that reason.
“By the way we play, you can tell we don’t care about that,” Orlovsky said. “We all know the situation. But we’re all in the NFL. Andrew Luck has been a great college football player. But will he be good in the NFL? We don’t know.”
Orlovsky told Dan he has not seen Manning throw yet, but thinks if someone can come back from that injury, it’s Peyton.
