Roderick Boone says Jets locker room is ‘chaos’
New York Newsday NFL reporter Roderick Boone joined guest host Bonnie Bernstein to talk about the mess with the Jets.
“The Jets are a team right now that are in chaos,” Boone said.
Boone said the Jets have to focus on getting Mark Sanchez right again and then get everyone in the locker room behind him.
Boone stuck up for Rex Ryan. “The Jets have always been behind the Giants in terms of publicity,” Boone said. “Rex Ryan has definitely gotten the Jets on the map.”
But Boone said that Ryan must have to focus on controlling the locker room. “His style can be good,” Boone said. “But right now we’re seeing the opposite side of the spectrum and the locker room is chaotic.”
Boone said he thinks the Jets will have to bring back receiver Santonio Holmes. He said that there are cap reasons, but also he’s the biggest playmaker on offense. “They have to bring the guy back,” Boone said.
