Brian Billick discussed Super Bowl media hype, Ray Lewis

FOX NFL analyst Brian Billick joined the show to talk about the Super Bowl matchup and more.

Billick talked about how to answer tough questions during Super Bowl week. “Most coaches try to take the middle ground,” Billick said. He said he didn’t always do that.

Billick said there’s a difference between “courage of conviction” and arrogance.

Billick talked about Ray Lewis and the double-murders after the Super Bowl. Billick thinks he’s “removed the asterisk.” Billick noted now Lewis is in commercials and he’s overcome many of the image problems.

But Billick said that they trusted Lewis. “We believed in the man,” Billick said. He thinks it’s regrettable it still gets brought up.

Dan asked Billick who is the best QB-coach combo in NFL history. Billick said if the Patriots win, then Bill Belichick and Tom Brady have a good chance to go down as the best.
