Al Michaels talks about calling Super Bowl

NBC broadcaster Al Michaels joined the show to talk about calling the Super Bowl.

Michaels said he’s called some lopsided Super Bowls. “You only get to do a Super Bowl every few seasons,” Michaels said, “so you want the game to be really great.”

Michaels said that the Giants are “the flavor of the month” today, but come Monday morning we may be talking about something else.

Michaels noted how tough Eli Manning is. He said he thought he was going to the hospital, not the Super Bowl.

Michaels talked about his gameday routine. He said he’ll relax on Sunday because his work is done.
