Peter King says Colts and Manning are bad fit right now
Sports Illustrated’s Peter King joined the show to talk about Peyton Manning and more.
King weighed in on the latest Peyton Manning drama. “I would be very surprised if Manning agreed to go back to Indianapolis,” King said. “It’s just a bad fit right now.”
King thinks that the ideal situation would be for the Colts to give him a gold watch and move on. King said that he does think Manning probably wants to come back for three more years and start for the Colts.
King talked about his Hall of Fame vote too. He said that he’s considering dropping it. King said that he keeps hearing that the Hall of Fame is “crap.” King said many people told him that the system is broken.
King also said he doesn’t understand why voters keep their vote for a lifetime. King said maybe they should rotate new people in.
King did clarify one issue. He said he’s never heard in the HOF meeting that Cris Carter was kept out because he was a jerk.
