Adrian Peterson talks about his health, Vikings’ draft plan

Minnesota Vikings star Adrian Peterson joined the show to talk about his offseason.

Peterson said he’ll be able to run on his recovering leg on Feb. 28.

Peterson also weighed in on changing his number. He wants to be No. 23, because he was that in hoops in high school. “When you think about 23, you think about the great Michael Jordan,” Peterson said.

Dan asked Peterson what the Vikings should do in the draft. “We’re hurting in so many areas, offensively and defensively, I don’t think we can go wrong,” Peterson said.

Peterson did say he thinks that they’re set at quarterback Christian Ponder, although he thinks that he should have competition coming into camp.
