Peter King says Saints lost institutional control
Sports Illustrated’s Peter King joined the show to talk about the New Orleans Saints’ bounty system and more.
King thinks the Saints’ bounties are worse than the Patriots’ Spygate because of the NFL’s emphasis on safety.
King said the Saints will get draft picks taken away from them. “[Head coach] Sean Payton and [GM] Mickey Loomis have lost institutional control,” King said.
King said that another guy who will get hit is Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma, because he said that there would be a $10,000 reward.
King also commented on what’s next for Peyton Manning. King thinks that teams will try to see Manning work out as soon as this weekend. He thinks the Dolphins will likely offer the most money.
