Clay Travis expects Titans to land Peyton Manning

Clay Travis, host of The Zone in Nashville, joined guest host Chris Mannix to talk about the chances of Peyton Manning coming to Nashville.

Travis said he thinks that the Titans will land Peyton. He said Peyton has a lot of connections in Nashville.

Travis said that the Titans team is a good fit — solid O-line, developing young receivers and a great running back.

Travis said the main competition is Denver, which has a lot more room under the cap to put together an offer.

Travis said that the Titans would get rid of 37-year-old Matt Hasselbeck and Jake Locker would learn under Manning.

Mannix asked Travis how popular Peyton is in Tennessee. “I don’t know who is more popular in the world of sports,” Travis said.
