Peter King weighs in on Saints’ penalties, Vikings stadium, Browns’ pick and schedule

SI.com’s Peter King joined the show to break down the big stories around the NFL. Here are some of his takes:

— King thinks it would be fair for the Saints to know about their suspensions before the Draft.

— King commented on recent indications the Vikings and the city of Minnesota could be headed toward  a split. If I were them, I’d certainly be talking to Los Angeles.

“I know that Zygi and Mark Wilf want to keep the team in Minneapolis,” King said. “I think they are perplexed and a little bit angry.”

— King weighed in on the draft. “Cleveland is the mystery team,” King said. “They’re what I consider to be the pivot point in this draft [at No 4].”

King said the Browns could take Texas A&M QB Ryan Tannehill and make things confusing for the Buccaneers at No. 5. King thinks that the Bucs love running back Trent Richardson if he there at No. 5, although they also appear to be destined to take cornerback Morris Claiborne.

— King looked at the schedule release and thinks the Redskins could win double-digit games next season. He also like the Carolina Panthers to rise up.
