Philip Humber talks about how he pitched perfect game

Chicago White Sox pitcher Philip Humber joined the show to talk about his perfect game

Humber said before the game he didn’t think his stuff was special. He said he told his catcher he was going to have to throw some slop.

Humber said he’s not superstitious, but he didn’t want his teammates to stay away from him during the game. “I knew what was going on, but I wanted to keep it as normal as possible,” Humber said.

Humber credited catcher A.J. Pierzynski for helping with what kind of pitches to throw and to keep him loose.

Humber said that he wanted to get as much memorabilia as possible and took everything they would give him.
