Jason Segel tells Kobe story, makes his top comedy pick
Actor Jason Segel joined the show to talk about his new movie the Five-Year Engagement and more.
Segel said that Kobe Bryant helped him get his first movie job. Basically, he was up close and a studio head was sitting next to him who wasn’t convinced he was famous enough. Then Kobe came up to him and said “I really love your work.”
Dan asked who his No. 1 pick for a comedy actor would be. Segel said he’d go with Peter Sellers No. 1. Dan said living. Then Segel went with Steven Carell. For females he went with Kristen Wiig.
Segel said that his game was comparable to Steve Nash in high school. But Jason could dunk very well.
