Martin Brodeur talks about his future and French trash-talking
New Jersey Devils goaltender Martin Brodeur joined the show to talk about their series win over Philadelphia and playing the position at 40.
Dan asked Brodeur how the game has changed since he entered the NHL. “The game has gotten faster every year,” Brodeur said. “Especially after the Lockout with the new rules.”
Dan asked Brodeur who’s better, him or his idol Patrick Roy. Brodeur said that can’t be answered until he retires. Brodeur said he doesn’t know when he’s going to retire.
Dan asked Brodeur the last time he heard trash talking. He said last night. “I heard my name in French and in English,” Brodeur said. He said usually it’s something about how hold he is and gave us some tough French statements that he should hang up his skates.
