Tim Kawakami talks about Barry Bonds reemerging in San Francisco
San Jose Mercury News’ Tim Kawakami joined the show to talk about Barry Bonds’ recent behavior.
Kawakami noted that Barry Bonds was hanging around the Giants last week. He was hanging around players, coaches and most surprisingly, the media. Kawakami said he didn’t do that when he was playing.
Kawakami said that Bonds would want a position, but it’s gotta be something that fits what he thinks of himself.
Kawakami said that Bonds looked much different. “I didn’t recognize him because he has lost 30 or 40 pounds,” Kawakami said. “He looked like he did when he was 27 years old.”
