David Feherty says Tiger is going to win big again
Golf Channel and CBS analyst David Feherty joined the show to talk about Tiger Woods’ dramatic victory at the Memorial.
“I feel like I just met up with an old friend I haven’t seen in three years,” Feherty said of Tiger.
Feherty was impressed by the way Tiger won and thinks that this performance shows that he will have future success. “I think it’s inevitable that not only will he win again … he’ll win by 10 again,” Feherty said.
Feherty commented on Rory McIlroy’s recent disappearance. “He’s come back from a lot worse things than he’s dealing with right now,” Feherty said. “I would expect him to be one of the favorites at the U.S. Open.”
Feherty also talked about Phil Mickelson. He said Phil is frustrated with some of the things going on on the golf course — they aren’t prohibiting people from using camera phones and things like that. But Feherty just hopes that everything is OK at home with Mickelson with his wife’s health problems.
